The CBBC presents its newest publication on Chinese Investments in Brazil. The report aims to provide an overview of investments in the years 2012 and 2013, highlighting the values​​, geographical location and the sectors in which investments were. The study from a survey of the CBBC, based on reports in the press, recorded 31 projects announced in the period totaling US$ 8.43 billion.

The China Brazil Business Council (CBBC), in partnership with the Institute for Studies Brazil China (IBRACH) and Banco Bradesco, held in São Paulo last May 28, Roundtable with Ms. Yan Lan, Director of Lazard China and Head of the Lazard investment area for Greater China. Ms. Yan Lan adds a great experience of advocacy in the United States, France and Beijing has been the Director of Gide and Loyrete in Beijing.


At this meeting, Ms. Yan Lan discussed the direction of the financial and economic reforms after the directives of the 18th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, the evolution of the free trade zone of Shanghai and the current situation of China's global investments.


The event was attended by the Ambassadors Clodoaldo Hugueney and Affonso Ouro Preto, besides the Director of IBRACH, Anna Jaguaribe and Director of Economic Affairs of Bradesco, Octavio de Barros.

The China Brazil Business Council (CBBC) held this Thursday, June 6, meeting with the Foreign Minister, Luiz Alberto Figueiredo Machado, and a small group of entrepreneurs from leading companies associated with the Council. The purpose of the meeting was to promote a dialogue between the Government and the CBBC on the current stage of economic and business relations China-Brazil to serve as input for the activities that will occur due to the Chinese presidential visit to Brazil. Attended the meeting, representatives of companies: Bank of Brazil, Bradesco, Bunge, Comexport, Embraer, Vale, Veirano lawyers, Odebrecht and Sertrading. The official visit of the President of China, Xi Jinping to Brazil, will take place from 16 to 18 July 2014 and the Council is planning a number of activities, among them the Annual Bilateral Meeting between Chinese Section and Brazilian Section of CBBC and the Brazilian Business Seminar, which will be attended by the Chinese delegation accompanying the President Xi Jinping and members of the Brazilian and Chinese sections of the Council.
